In this article, we'll show how to configure expiry reminders for Accreditations in Learn LMS.
Expiry reminders are a key element in ensuring completion rates stay high. Individual reminder schedules can be configured for both learners and their manager, to ensure everyone gets notified at just the right time.
An expiry period is specified for every new Accreditation. This determines when the Course of which the accredited Lesson is part, will move from “Course I’ve Done”, back to “Courses I have to do”.
There are two configuration options for reminders:
Alert all Users in the User list about the accreditation expiry
Expiry reminders will be sent to every User who has previously achieved the Accreditation. This may be useful to make the distinction between Users who have chosen to achieve the Accreditation, and users who are required to achieve the Accreditation
Alert only Users assigned to this accreditation as part of a Group about their accreditation expiry
Only Users who continue to be assigned the Accreditation (through Group membership) will be reminded. This is the default option.
