In this article, we'll explain how to unlock a Users account in IDS3. A Users account will be locked out if they enter the incorrect password too many times. Follow the steps below to unlock an account.
How to know if your Learn site is IDS3 or IDS6
If the 'New' and 'Import' buttons appear in the User area (see below), then your site is IDS3. User accounts in Identity Server 6 lockout for 5 mins. The user can then try again.
Steps to unlock a User account (IDS3)
- Navigate to a User’s profile and select ‘Edit’
- Select Unlock, then save changes. The User can now attempt to log in again.
