See also Recruit - media source reporting (as selected by the candidate)
Reporting on the effectiveness of your online job adverts can be achieved as follows:
Kallidus Recruit captures both a "referrer" and "landing" URL against all candidates in your system:
- Referrer URL - this is the web address of the page the candidate came from when they clicked through to a page on your careers site which is part of the Kallidus Recruit platform.
- Landing URL - this is the web address of the page the candidate was sent to on your careers site - this may include additional, more specific information in the query string about a candidate's source to help you track exactly what the candidate clicked on.
e.g. Something like the bit in bold at the end of the below vacancy details page URL:
https://YourSiteUrl/VacancyInformation.aspx?VId=21265&source=BannerAdvert12345
This information can be exported for all applications, so you can report on it. This can be done via Kallidus Analytics, or via a 'Candidate view' (you may already have a view set up for this purpose).
To check, go to the Candidates tab, and see what Views are available at the bottom-left of the screen. If you can't already see one relating to 'Media Source', click 'Create a new view'.
Give the view an appropriate name (e.g. 'Media source'), make it Global to share with colleagues, and select useful fields. In this example, we have submitted date, candidate email, landing URL, referrer URL and vacancy title. Click 'Save' and 'Commit' when done.
You and your colleagues can then select this 'View' at any time. Click 'Download CSV' if you want to interrogate the data in Excel.
