This guide outlines the way in which you can run Perform reports. These reports will help you view review progress and completion levels across your system.
How do the reports work?
The information within Perform is sensitive and confidential. As such, we anticipate that as a business you do not want all the persons with access to Learn reports having access to the Perform reports as well.
The Perform reports are only visible to those who have an LMS role that has these reports enabled (see later). Additionally, the data which displays when those reports load is restricted. This works as follows:
- If someone is marked as a Perform administrator (which is a task completed by Kallidus and is not denoted in any data feed) then they will see all the data across Perform. A full report is generated.
- If someone is not marked as a Perform administrator but is a manager then they will see the Perform data for their team in the reports.
- If someone is not marked as a Perform administrator and do not manage a team then they will see only their data in the perform reports.
This restriction helps control who sees what data. You can switch the report on for a specific role as below.
How to switch on the Perform reports
The Perform reports are not switched on by default. Switching them on is easy. Go into Learn (you may subscribe to this product or have it supplied for reporting only).
Go into System Configuration. Choose LMS Role from the left hand menu.
Select the role which you want to grant access to the Perform reports – this is most likely to be the LMS administrator.
Select New at the bottom of the page. A box which can be typed into appears. In this box type ‘Admin.Reports.Perform.Folder.View’. Then click Save.
You have now added the reports into your system.
To see the reports go to the Reports and analysis area of the system. The Perform reports are located at the bottom of the page.
Please contact us with any questions on this new functionality. You can find lots of information about Business objects reporting on our Kallidus Help Portal.
