Introduction
There are three levels of access for Perform – employee, Manager and Administrator. This guide outlines all functionality that can be performed by users with administrative access in Perform. It also describes how the system looks to employees and Managers.
If you require more users to be set up with admin access, speak to your consultant during implementation or log a ticket with support on Zendesk.
The big picture
Perform is used in a variety of different ways. For example, mid-year reviews, end of year reviews, and for ad-hoc check ins. However, each variation is based around the steps outlined below:
Administrators create a review template Administrators create and publish review templates using the Template builder. Each template contains a series of questions designed for a specific purpose. For example, an annual review or regular check-in. |
Managers assign reviews to team members Once published, all review templates are instantly visible to managers. Managers can then assign a review to team members. The review is ready to be populated with information by both the reviewer and the reviewee. |
Reviewee and reviewer begin to complete the review form Both parties can now complete their part of the review. If the review includes an Overview of objectives’ section, the reviewee's objectives ( including any evidence and comments about objectives added by the reviewee) will appear in the review for both participants to rate progress. See for steps for managers to create and assign objectives. |
Reviewee and reviewer share their responses When either party is satisfied with the information they have added to the review, they can share their responses with the other party. Until this point, responses are hidden from the other party. Responses must be shared before review sign off is available. |
Reviewee and reviewer make final amendments, sign-off Following the face-to-face review, both parties can continue to comment to the review, and add further evidence to objectives. Reviewer and reviewee can then sign-off the review |
Report and repeat Administrators can view the HR dashboard to see stats summarising the status of reviews. Reminders can be sent managers with incomplete reviews. Reviews can be automatically or manually reassigned for the next review period. |
