There are a few reasons why you, as an administrator, may have difficulty changing a users password. The below steps should help to guide you through and help you to change the password.
Why can't I see the "Change" button?
It may be that you've logged into KIP but you are unable to see the "Change" button on the account. This could be because;
- The account you are using does not have the correct KIP permissions to see this. I order to see the "Change" button, the account will need the top permission shown in the below image.
- If the account was created by SSO or via an import only mapped to LMS, it may be that the KIP portion of the account is not fully created. Simply click "Save" on the KIP window that has opened and close. Then click "Submit" on the LMS portion of the account. This will allow them to resync and when you click on the "Edit Personal Details" button the "Change" button should now appear.
It says the password isn't strong enough
